Main Topic:   Life in the Fishbowl:  The Importance of Family and Friends

Using a story from Garrison Keillor about a clergy person living in a rural community, we will talk about the challenges and rewards of ‘living in a fishbowl’ and the importance of having good people to support all of us! 

 

Topic Two:  Care and Support of Church Leaders


Wardens, church council, and parochial committee members are asked to attend; however, since change affects everyone, anyone in the parish is invited to attend.

October 2, and November 27 (snow date Jan 8).  Each one is different, join us for all 3!


J.A.M. (Jesus and Mondays)

J.A.M. is our after-school program for the young and young at heart. We gather on the 1st Monday of the month to share in crafts, games, and activities for the first part of the afternoon, then enjoy a simple and brief time of worship and end our time by sharing supper together. Our next gathering will be 5 April 2010.


Lenten Studies

Both churches will be having a reading group during Lent. Holy Trinity Church will be reading The Last Week and All Saints' Churhc will read The Shack.

Following the mid-week Lenten Services, there will group discussion on the portion of the book assigned for that week.

This week's portion:

The Shack - Chapters 1-3

The Last Week - Palm Sunday.


St. Joseph's Men's Guild

March 22nd, 5:30 pm for 6:00 at Holy Trinity Hall. Pot-luck meal with a suggested donation of $2.00 for the Guild funds. All men of the parish are welcome to attend.


Bible Study

 with Fr. Ed, held on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Boardroom.

Regional Council

The next regional council meeting will be Saturday, 13 March 2010 at Christ Church Hall, Berwick. Meeting and Programs are open to all people, not just members of Regional Council. Schedule:

9:30 a.m. Coffee on for early arrivals

10:00 a.m. Worship, followed by Meeting

11:45 a.m. - Lunch

12:30-3:00 - Programming
